Several years ago, Colorado’s efforts to punish a devout Christian cakemaker for refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding became a cause célèbre for both opponents and supporters of the decision, which was overturned by the Supreme Court. Now the state is leveling another attack on religious freedom, refusing to include Catholic schools in its new program to fund universal preschool. Nicholas Reaves writes:
