There Is No Governing Gaza Without First Dismantling Hamas

Phase 2 problems.

While conducting routine operations in Gaza on Monday, the IDF located a large cache of weapons inside a tunnel, close to the cease-fire line. Meanwhile, the Board of Peace meant to supervise Gaza continues to take shape. Of the roughly 60 nations invited to join this body, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Morocco, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE, and Israel itself have all publicly accepted. The real question, though, is whether anyone will actually disarm Hamas and remove it from power. Noah Rothman writes:
